
Fitness industry pays tribute to influencers Baxter and Thievin amid fatal car crash
The social media fitness community is in shock after two prominent influencers, Baxter and Thievin, were reportedly killed in a car crash earlier this week.
Garrett, who is known as Thievin on social media, and Baxter were well-known influencers within the fitness space on Instagram and other platforms. On TikTok alone, Baxter boasted 530k followers while Thievin accumulated just under 100k.

On Tuesday, videos began popping up on social media paying tribute to the two fitness influencers following an accident on Sunday, March 10. Its believed that the two men were involved in a car accident in Houston that resulted in their BMW being split in two.
The news was seemingly confirmed by Thievin and Baxters employers, Ekkovision, who took to Instagram on Tuesday with a devastating message.
They penned: Sunday, March 10th we lost two of our brothers. The family lost their sons in a horrific event. At this moment we ask you guys to please send your prayers to Baxter and Thievin and their family and the Ekko team. At this moment we will not share any further details to honor the familys wishes.
The company also revealed that they would be working with the families and providing them with a portion of the funds raised by Thievin and Baxters signature products.
TikTok is devastated
Social media has since been flooded with messages, with many stating that Baxter and Thievin were the driving force behind their fitness journey.
One person wrote: RIP man you really helped me out nearly 2 years ago& I can’t believe you’re gone.
May the goats Baxter and thievin rest in peace. Baxter has helped me a lot when I was losing weight and has always put a smile on my face will miss you goat, another person wrote.
