Woman makes pretzel chain

The TikTok user called Lex has had more than 33 million views after sharing a video of the epic chain of pretzels.

While eating the salty snack, she linked them together so they formed a long chain which she lifts up in the clip.

There are at least 10 regular-sized crunchy pretzels in the chain which stay securely attached as she dangles the top.

“I am simply not capable of eating pretzels without making a chain. I must connect them. The beast inside me demands it,” she wrote.

‘They don’t have any holes’

People are absolutely gobsmacked because pretzels don’t have any holes in. So, how do you make them into a chain?

One person wrote: “HOWWW??? THEY DON’T HAVE HOLES???”

“Hold up how the freak did you do that?” asked another.

A third person added: “THERE’S NO GAP HOW DID YOU DO IT.”

Even the official Google TikTok account joined in, commenting: “Next search: how to make a pretzel chain.”

Plus, American pretzel brand Snyder’s of Hanover gave it the seal of approval, saying she’s done something “extraordinary”.

How to make a pretzel chain

Many speculated that the TikTok user must a witch who magically linked the pretzels together, but that’s obviously not true.

In another video, Lex explained that you make a pretzel chain by breaking off a little corner of each snack and putting it through the next pretzel.

Then, you lick the missing piece to stick the pretzel back together and it’s impossible to tell that it’s ever been broken from afar.

“They stick right back together with spit,” she said. “Which is gross.”

The woman had no idea that making pretzel chains wasn’t a “universal experience” and was shocked by the reaction.
