Three new Burger King Whopper creations unveiled and you get to choose who wins $1 million

One lucky person will soon be winning $1 million in Burger King’s Million Dollar Whopper contest – and you will get to choose who.

The competition asked people to design a Whopper Sandwich that will actually go on sale later this year, and the three finalists have been revealed.

Burger King’s ‘Million Dollar Whopper’ finalists

In February, Burger King urged people across the US to submit their dream Whopper online for the chance to win a whopping $1 million prize and see their creation come to life and be sold in restaurants nationwide.

There were more than one million submissions, but Burger King has now whittled it down to three finalists, who each have a chance at winning the huge cash prize.

As revealed in a press release, the three finalists are:

  • Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper: Created by Fabian of California, the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper features a � lb flame-grilled beef patty topped with pickle ranch, lettuce, fried pickles, bacon, and Swiss cheese.
  • Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper: Created by Calvin of California, the Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper features a � lb flame-grilled beef patty topped with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions, jalape�os, maple bacon seasoning, bacon, and American cheese.
  • Mexican Street Corn Whopper: Created by Kelsie of Nebraska, the Mexican Street Corn Whopper features a � lb flame-grilled beef patty, topped with street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, Southwest seasoned tortilla crisps, and Mexican spicy queso.

Burger King is also doing a week of deals for National Cheeseburger Day with multiple freebies – but be quick because the offers won’t be around for long.

You will get to choose which burger wins

All three burgers will go on sale at participating restaurants nationwide later this fall and you will get to choose who wins the huge prize.

The fast food chain will open a public voting period when the Whoppers are available and members of the public with a Royal Perks account will be able to vote for their favorite online. More details will be announced in mid-November.

“The Million Dollar Whopper Contest was all about taking ‘Have It Your Way’ to the next level, and we were blown away by the thought and creativity that went into the Whopper creations that were submitted,” said Pat O’Toole, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King North America.

“Selecting just three finalists was no easy task, but we’re confident Guests will love these creative delicious takes on the iconic Whopper sandwich, and can’t wait for them to be available in restaurants this fall.”

Will Fried Pickle Ranch, Maple Bourbon BBQ or Mexican Street Corn take the crown? We’ll have to wait and see.
