Pizza Hut wants to help you get a job with ResZAmes program that prints your CV on pizza box
Pizza Hut has started a new competition where the winners will have their resumes sent to employers, though their qualifications will be printed on a pizza box containing one steaming hot pie.
Food brands have a habit of releasing products and programs that have little to do with their actual business, much like Heinz’s insurance policy from earlier this year. Another recent example could be the Taco Bell retirement home that came complete with fun activities, arts and crafts, and even a pool!
Your resume will be hard to ignore thanks to Pizza Hut
Pizza Hut, who earlier this year released a similarly unique Valentine’s Day product, is not scared to push the boat out when it comes to bizarre publicity ideas.
Their latest was unveiled in a press release on Tuesday in a bid to shatter the statistic that 75% of resumes go unread. Their competition comes just in time for September Surge, the time of the year when there are more job opportunities available.
Nicknamed ResZAmes, Pizza Hut is hoping to provide select customers with the chance to have their resumes printed on a pizza box, with a medium cheese pizza inside!
The cheesy content will be almost impossible to ignore, meaning that your resume’s chances of getting read are dramatically increased.
“We know finding a job can be daunting, especially during this key hiring season, so we wanted to lend a hand to our job-seeking customers and help them break through the clutter,” said Pizza Hut’s Chief Marketing Officer,�Melissa Friebe. “By combining Pizza Hut’s iconic pizza boxes with job seekers’ resumes, we are hoping to help resumes drum up the same excitement as office pizza and help the applicant make a lasting impression. Who could possibly ignore a resume when it is delivered as a delicious pizza?”
How do you get your resume on a pizza box?
Unfortunately, there is no way for Pizza Hut to send out millions of pizza resume boxes so there are a few conditions that must be met.
Firstly, the delivery zone must be within the New York City area, though specific boundaries can be found by following the link here.
Head on over to the link and pop in the zip code of your (hopefully) future employer. If you meet the requirements, you can then filter in your resume information and build it to your specifications. Finally, you need to wait by your email as you await a response from Pizza Hut. Select winners will then have their resumes printed on a pizza box and sent to their business of choice.
