It’s on sale at three of the fast food chain’s restaurants in Southern California and features products that havent been available in years.

“The returning items are part of a menu test looking back and celebrating the most mouth-watering, iconic hits through the decades,” Taco Bell said in a press release.

The ‘Through the Decades’ menu includes five nostalgic food items from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and ’00s. Four of them are savory options while one is sweet.

Each item is priced between $2.19 and $2.99, so the menu is extremely affordable. Taco Bell has hinted that the menu could launch nationwide “later this year”.

Here’s what’s on offer:

  • ’60s – Tostada ($2.19): Featuring a crispy corn tostada shell, savory refried beans, tangy red sauce, crispy lettuce and shredded cheese, the Tostada was one of Taco Bells original menu items when it opened its first location in 1962.
  • 70s – Green Burrito ($2.49):The Green Burrito gained popularity in the ’70s and is filled with savory refried beans, crunchy onions, shredded cheddar cheese and a green sauce made with green chili, tomatillos, jalapeno peppers and spices.
  • 80s – Meximelt ($2.99): The Maximelt is making a return, made with freshly prepared pico de gallo, a blend of three cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar and monterey jack) and seasoned beef inside a tortilla.
  • 90s – Beef Gordita Supreme ($2.99): Featuring pillowy warm flatbread filled with savory seasoned beef, cool reduced-fat sour cream, crisp lettuce, a blend of three cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar & monterey jack) and topped with diced tomatoes, ’90s kids will remember the Gordita.
  • 00s – Caramel Apple Empanada ($2.99):The only dessert on the menu, the Caramel Apple Empanada consists of a golden-brown crispy exterior filled with apple pieces and a creamy filling with notes of caramel.

The test menu comes as Liquid Death’s new Hot Fudge Sundae sparkling water is the talk of the internet. People aren’t sure how to feel about the drink, which might be 2024s weirdest release so far.
