Relatable Queer experience as lesbian comes out to savage little sister

TikTok is still in shock after a little sister said “I don’t want to talk about lesbians” as her older sibling came out.

The bond between siblings is an indescribable one that often sparks hilarious moments, heartbreaking confessions, and a bond that will last forever. Unfortunately, sibling relationships can also go the other way and end up with an enormous family fallout.

She said her sister being a lesbian would ‘go away’

From deleting dating apps to going to your first pride, there are a series of experiences that many people in the LGBTQ+ community share. One of them is awkward conversations with family members, which lesbian Cassie (@cassie05x) recently discovered for herself.

“You’re not a lesbian. Don’t talk about that,” Cassie’s little sister said as she affirmed that she was, in fact, a lesbian. “It will go away. Don’t think about that. It don’t matter. Just don’t talk about it.”

Wanting a firm statement on the topic, Cassie outright asked if being a lesbian was okay, to which her little sister responded, “No.”

Cassie continued to question her little sister’s opinion, with the little tot eventually losing her cool and stating: “I don’t want to talk about lesbians.”

Though such conversations can obviously be hurtful to a Queer person, Cassie seemed to take it in her stride as many of her followers confessed to having similar situations with their younger siblings.

The coming out experience is never particularly easy, but kids are showing to be generally more receptive to new ideas.

Just 24 hours later, Cassie posted another video as her sister had a change of heart. She soon said that it was “fine”, so baby steps!

For once, the TikTok community seemed to celebrate the awkward interaction as the video racked up 1.7 million views and nearly 300k likes. Most comments were positive, though some branded the little sister as “brutal” and “savage.”

“See when she’s being homophonic? very cutsie, very mindful, very demure! she’s not like these other homophobes,” one person joked, referencing another emerging trend on the app.

“Just dont talk about dont think about it itll go away. Shes so sweet,” another said, as a third added, “Is she a conversion therapist in training?”

Other TikTok users compared the little girl to Charity Shop Sue, a British comedy character that is known for her frank statements.
