TikTok Apple fan Tyler Morgan has put together a video listicle featuring everything new on the iPhone 16, which will be available for preorder on Friday (September 13) and should arrive on store shelves a week later.

If you still need to catch up on all of Apples latest rollouts, weve got you covered. With iOS 18 due for release on September 16, you might want to know whats on the cards for anyone with an iPhone new enough to support it, with five features being touted as particularly noteworthy. In the meantime, see what you think of all thats new in the upcoming iPhone 16.

Now is the time to look into used iPhones

Tyler Morgan regularly posts about new iPhone features and iOS packages on his TikTok channel. Hes quite popular on the platform.

In his latest video, he turns his attention to the upcoming iPhone 16 release, with the caveat: I still dont think you should buy it though.

Bear that in mind when evaluating the following new features. Do you think they were worth the wait? Are you prepared to fork out $799 for the basic option? Or $1,199 for the Pro?

New features on the iPhone 16, as pointed out by TikToker Tyler Morgan

These are the features he highlights in his video:

  • Color choice: Barbie pink, Blue, and Desert gold (on the Pro).
  • A capture button, which he refuses to call by its proper name (Camera Control), which you can use to zoom and control various camera functions using a haptic scroller  You can just click it once and it goes straight to the camera.
  • Ultra-wide camera shooting mode.
  • The new iPhone 16 will limit wind noise when using video mode, which Tyler says was probably like one of the best things at the unveiling event.
  • Also, when recording video, you can focus your iPhones mic on whoever is talking, which will enhance that sound. Tyler says its just cool. 
  • The new iPhone 16 comes with an A18 chip, which offers 2 more hours of playback time, compared with the iPhone 15. Thats 7 more hours if you get the Plus.
  • The iPhone 16 Pro can record in 4K at 120 frames per second. 
  • Tyler says that the iPhone 16 Pro Max offers 4 hours more battery life.
  • It will have iOS 18.

Theyre not gonna make another Barbie pink iPhone, Tyler reckons. So if you want a pink iPhone, get yours while theyre hot.
