McDonald’s drops Eternals toys, it’s time to buy out the Happy Meals

Marvel’s Eternals reaches theatres on 5 November 2021, and to get into the spirit, McDonald’s has released a line of toys for the 11 heroes.

Marvel’s next epic movie coming in December

Over the next two years, Marvel fans are going to be the most appreciative fanbase thanks to upcoming releases for Phase 4. Five releases have been confirmed for 2022 and three films for 2023.

Back to 2021 though: What If…? concluded on 6 October and Eternals is due to arrive on 5 November.

Hawkeye will be the next Disney+ series on 24 November, and who could forget about Spider-Man: No Way Home, whose trailer made history for the most views in 24 hours?

It’s safe to say, Marvel fans are getting well fed.

Speaking of food, McDonald’s have jumped on the Eternals hype by releasing a line of Happy Meals toys – we can just see the adults buying out the meals and leaving none for the kids.

How long is the McDonald’s promotion for Eternals toys?

Each Happy Meal will contain one Eternals toy, beginning 26 October – 22 November 2021. That’s right, fans will have just under four weeks to bag all 11 characters.

They’re an alternative to Funko Pops, set to arrive in November, if fans don’t want to pay the $12 price tag.

The promotion is curently available in the US, but those who are die-hard fans can find them eBay. Prices start at 5 for one and 26+ for the complete set.

According to a fan tweet, the promotion will also be at McDonald’s Brazil and Mexico.

Is that Richard Madden?

The idea of Eternals toys sounds good, but fans don’t think they’re well executed – they can barely recognise Richard Madden as Ikaris.

Drive-thru customers have had problems securing all 11 since they receive the same one repeatedly; you can try purchasing in-store and asking for a different character each time.
