How to shop at Costco without membership
Whether you want to shop your favorite brand at discounted price or grab a bite, Costco benefits are only available to select members. But, there’s a lesser-known way to enjoy all of it without buying the membership.
Costco’s Executive Membership costs $120 a year, while Business Membership and Gold Star Membership cost $60 each annually. Each membership comes with different benefits like free Household Card, access to stores in different locations, and more.
It’s okay if you don’t wish to get a Costco membership because there’s a way to shop without buying it for a year. As TikTok user Vetter AI points out, you can shop at Costco using a Gift Card.
Using others’ membership card could result in the original member getting band. You can buy the gift card instead and shop whenever you want.
Non-members can buy it too
Costco’s Gift Cards aren’t exclusive to the members. Anybody can buy it from the official website and use it to shop at a physical store or online at the time of the checkout.
“A Costco Digital Shop Card is an electronic gift card that is sent via email and redeemed using your smartphone or by bringing a printed copy with you when you visit a Costco location,” Costco’s Customer Service website states.
It also notes that “certain gift cards” have a limit of $10,000 less per day, and it applies to all purchases made at Costco.
If you’re planning to make a stop at Costco, we recommend trying their new cheesy bread which customers say “pricey” but “tasty”.
