Burger King launching new Pickle Fries as chain enters ‘revival era’
Burger King is about to become the best fast food chain around with their brand new limited-edition Pickle Fries.
Yes, they really are releasing a side of deep-fried pickles – and it’s a pretty big dill. Get it? Fans are saying this marks the start of Burger King’s “revival era”.
Burger King launching new Pickle Fries
The news was announced by Instagram foodie Markie Devo, who shares all the latest food releases before they launch. He shared a photo of the side, revealing a big pile of pickles that are deep-fried and served with a sachet of ranch.
We reached out to Burger King, who confirmed to The Focus that Pickle Fries are coming to restaurants nationwide on Thursday, November 14. The starting price will be $3.99, but prices may vary depending on location.
“We can confirm that the Pickle Fries will be available in-restaurant (alongside the Million Dollar Whopper builds) on November 14,” a spokesperson said.
They will join the menu alongside the three creations from Burger King’s Million Dollar Whopper Contest. The fast food chain asked people across America to design their own Whopper, and the finalists are actually going on sale.
One of them is called the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, created by someone called Fabian from California, which features a � lb flame-grilled beef patty, topped with pickle ranch, lettuce, fried pickles, bacon, and Swiss cheese all on a toasted sesame seed bun.
If fried pickles had to be made for the burger anyway, it made sense to launch them as a side too – and people already can’t wait to try them.
Start of Burger King’s ‘revival era’
It looks like Burger King is about to have a revival with what could be the best fast food item of the year.
One person commented: “Wow BK is really in its revival era! Im comin’ for those fried pickle goodies.”
“I’m down for the Pickle Fries!” said another.
A third person added: “OK, the Pickle Fries are a game changer for me& lets go Burger King.”
“Omg fried pickles sound amazing!!!!!!” someone else agreed.

Three new burgers are coming
As well as the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, a new Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper is coming too. Created by Calvin from California, it features a flame-grilled beef patty, topped with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions & jalape�os, maple bacon seasoning, bacon, and American cheese.
Or, the Mexican Street Corn Whopper, designed by someone called Kelsie from Nebraska, stars a flame-grilled beef patty, topped with street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, Southwest seasoned tortilla crisps, and Mexican spicy queso all on a toasted sesame seed bun.
Royal Perks members will get a chance to vote for their favorite burger online and crown the winner of the Million Dollar Whopper contest, who will get a whopping $1 million in prize money.
