Subway rumored to be launching Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie for the holidays
According to rumors, a brand new Footlong Cookie is coming to Subway for the holidays in a Double Chocolate Peppermint flavor.
The Footlong Cookie first debuted on US menus in December 2022 to celebrate National Cookie Day. After it proved so popular, the sweet treat soon became a permanent menu item, and it looks like it’s getting a festive upgrade for the first time ever.

Subway launching Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie
The Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie was first announced by Instagram food influencer Markie Devo back in September, who claimed a Subway employee leaked the festive release months early.
He shared a picture of the dessert, which looks like a chocolate version of the iconic Footlong Cookie with white chocolate chips and red and white sprinkles on top to give it a Christmas theme. The whole thing is also flavored with peppermint.
Now, Snackolator, who also shares the latest US food releases on Instagram, has claimed it will arrive on November 1 and cost $5. However, this hasn’t been confirmed by Subway.

The footlong cookie is a longer, bigger version of its classic cookies that everyone knows and loves. It’s “thick, gooey and packed with chocolate chips,” and part of the Subway Sidekicks range which consists of footlong treats.
Other options include the Cinnabon Footlong Churro and Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel. Subway’s Footlong Dippers also recently launched, rolls of hot, cheesy goodness which are designed to be dipped in a sauce.
‘This looks amazing’
People can’t wait to try the Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie, with one person commenting: “This looks amazing.”
“Oh good god, that looks good,” said another.
A third person added: “Omg sounds awesome!”
Oreo has just released some festive cookies too, and people are already dubbing it ‘the best holiday design ever’.
