Responding to her resignation post on Twitter from 28 March, one person replied weeks later with a sentiment shared by many. The Twitter user said: “I just realized you are no longer at CBS LA any more I just thought you were on vacation.”
But Danielle did announce on her social media profiles on Sunday, 28 March that the Friday before had been her last day.
She wrote: “They say when one door closes another door opens and I’ve always been a big believer you can’t start a new chapter without closing an old one. With that said, Friday was my last day at @cbsla.”
The meteorologist went on to thank the viewers and all those she worked with.
