This is a look back on The Office and where to watch it online. Starting this month, Netflix says goodbye to another iconic series, leaving fans to search though its streaming catalog for new favourites to fill the void. Or, you can get smart and find out where to binge-watch your favourite series online.
The Office: A look back and where to watch it online
Fret not, you can still watch The Office online. According to The Verge, the first two seasons will be available for free on Peacock, a streaming service owned by NBCUniversal.
To watch the rest of The Office, however, fans will have to sign up for Peacock’s Premium or Premium Plus packages. The main attraction for these is access to all episodes of The Office, plus extra footage, never before seen by fans.
Peacock is, of course, acutely aware of this, and bases its membership plans around how much access to The Office each of them provides. Premium Plus, for example, boasts exclusive footage AND an ad-free experience.
“As Netflix loses more of these comfort watches, like Friends last year, it’ll have to rely on its in-house content to maintain its subscriber base,” says The Verge.
But, if you don’t feel like subscribing to another streaming service, The Office is also available to purchase on DVD or Blu-ray, as NBCUniversal now owns the exclusive licensing rights for the show.
They state: “The complete series is available on DVD and Blu-ray and it comes complete with deleted scenes, extended “producer’s cuts” of episodes, commentaries, blooper reels and more.”
Fans react to The Office leaving Netflix
It’s been a difficult start to 2021 for The Office fans, who are not happy about Netflix removing the show and their quarantine comfort watch.
A look back on The Office’s best moments

And if you are feeling nostalgic, just grab a handkerchief and a tub of Ben & Jerry’s so you and countless other fans can unreservedly sob while listening to the original theme song.
