Sons of Anarchy cast now - Fear of germs after 'horrible' tale to Futurama


Sons of Anarchy hooked fans for seven seasons after it first premiered 14 years ago, but where are the cast of the Motorcycle Club now?

SAMCRO dives into the story of a group of friends and the life of Jax Teller. He struggles to be a father and is involved in an outlaw motorcycle club, Sons of Anarchy, in the fictional town of Charming, in California’s Central Valley.

Drama, romances, smiles, and tears. The cast of the beloved series became very much popular in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

Fast-forward more than a decade, what has become of the Motorcycle Club, where are the Sons of Anarchy cast now?

Charlie Hunnam (as Jax Teller)

His character as Jackson Teller helped Charlie’s popularity expand internationally. Even though his character died on the road, Charlie had a bright future outside the series. He became a Hollywood breakout star, bagging the main roles for big films such as Crimson Peak, Pacific Rim, and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

As per other hobbies, the actor achieved his blue belt in October 2018 after two years of training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He was also diagnosed with dyslexia and a fear of germs and dirt.

Charlie confessed over being a germaphobe and how the fear began as a small child. During school, kids were educated about hygiene after a parasite from dogs in England, if ingested, could turn children blind. But it horrified Charlie and sparked a fear of germs, writes People.

His latest works include appearing in the second part of the popular trilogy Kingsman, in The Gentlemen. He has also participated in the movie Last Looks and is currently preparing and filming his latest film, Rebel Moon.

Katey gained quite a bit of popularity playing the role of Gemma Teller, following her big win in the category of Best Actress – Television Series Drama at the 2011 Golden Globes.

A year before the show ended, the actress released her last album titled Covered, after successful years entering the Billboard charts.

Since then, the actress has not been involved in a project that would have given her the same attention that she received on the series. The 68-year-old has supporting roles and guest works in other popular shows. These included Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Big Bang Theory, This Is Us, Grand Hotel, Shameless, and Regular Show.

Currently, Katey interprets the recurring role of Louis Conner in the American sitcom The Conners. She also returned to provide the voice of Leela for the animated series Futurama, where she had already previously worked from 1999 to 2013. Her latest work also includes appearing in the 2022 movie Torn Hearts as Harper Dutch.

Kim Coates (as Tig Trager)

Besides his interpretation of Tig Trager in Sons of Anarchy, the Canadian actor gained recognition as Declan Gardiner in the series Bad Blood where got awarded Best Actor in a Continuing Leading Drama Role at the Canadian Screen Awards. Most notably, Kim has played the recurring roles in Netflix’s Godless and Ghost Wars.

Throughout his active career, the 64-year-old actor also appeared on popular shows such as Prison Break, Cold Case, CSI, and CSI: Miami. Kim also had film roles in The Last Boy Scout, Bad Boys, King of Sorrow, and Goon.

For the past few years, Kim has been more active on television, appearing on different shows.

His latest lead role being on the horror drama series Van Helsing as Count Dalibor in the fifth season. Most recently, he appeared in an episode of Mayans M.C. playing the role of Tig Trager in a series that takes place in the same universe as Sons of Anarchy.

Theo Rossi (as Juice Ortiz)

Throughout all the seasons, Theo’s character as Juan Carlos ‘Juice’ Ortiz has played a bigger part and grown his status in the Sons of Anarchy.

After his character caught the attention of many, the actor continued to appear in various projects. Both in films such as Lowridesm American Skin and Rattlesnake, as well as in episodes of various series until landing the role of Hernan ‘Shades’ Alvarez in the Marvel series, Luke Cage.

His latest projects include four movies including Emily the Criminal featuring Aubrey Plaza and Vendetta featuring Mike Tyson and Bruce Willis.

Kurt Sutter (as Otto Delaney)

Otto Delaney appeared almost in every episode of Sons of Anarchy, both as an actor and an executive producer.

The actor has had a quieter television and film career, appearing in a few spotlights as an executive producer rather than an actor. Before joining Sons on Anarchy, he was known for being the executive producer of The Shield.

His last time on screen was in The Bastard Executioner in 2015. Since then, he has been involved in the writing process for series including Mayans M.C. Kurt’s latest work, This Beast, which is still in the works, and will be directing it.

Maggie Siff (as Tara Knowles)

Tara Knowles wasn’t only Jax Teller’s love interest, but also an important character in the series. Though she didn’t appear for the entirety of the series, Maggie surely gained a lot of interest from the public.

After her time on Sons of Anarchy, she went on to appear in films such as Concussion, The 5th Wave, The Sweet Life. The Short History of the Long Road was her latest role on the big screens.

As of today, the actress interprets the role of Wendy Rhoades in the series Billions. She also plays the role of a psychiatrist and coach at Axe Capital. Other than that, Maggie is not involved in other projects.
