Slow Horses’ soundtrack features Mick Jagger and the talents of Toydrum

Spy thriller series Slow Horses premiered on Apple TV+ today (1 April 2022) – the remaining four episodes will continue to air weekly. Here’s what we know about its soundtrack.

Who’s on Slow Horses’ soundtrack besides Mick Jagger?

The Slow Horses soundtrack features opening theme song Strange Game, by veteran rocker Mick Jagger.

Daniel Pemberton arranged the composition, and is credited as a lyricist alongside Jagger. Listen to the song below, via YouTube.

Meanwhile, IMDB credits English duo Toydrum as having contributed music to at least four episodes of Slow Horses.

Toydrum’s website lists Slow Horses among the television series to which the pair have contributed music. Others include This Is England ’90 and Deep Water.

Get to know Toydrum, Daniel Pemberton and Sneaker Pimps, who all contributed to the Slow Horses soundtrack

Toydrum formed in 2011. The duo comprises former Unkle band members and record producers Pablo Clements and James Griffith.

But audiences will have to wait to find out more

Besides Mick Jagger, Daniel Pemberton, Toydrum and Sneaker Pimps, Slow Horses’ producers have been tightlipped about who’s on the series’ soundtrack.

Follow Soundtrack Track List or Tune List for updates as and when they come in. Thus far, the only artist either of them credits is Mick Jagger.

But whatever’s coming, composer Pemberton says it’s “insanely amazing”, and hasn’t been announced yet. Stay tuned!
