Fans of classic Nineties sitcom The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air will remember Lisa as one of Will’s love interests in the series.

The character, who was originally portrayed by Nia Long, became a familiar face in the show’s fifth season after bumping into Will at a party.

In the 2022 reimagining of the series, Simone Joy Jones’ version of the character is seen to have a different dynamic with Will. As well as a romantic angle, she also becomes a friend he can confide in.

Simone Joy Jones’ age and career explored

Bel-Air actress Simone Joy Jones is 22 years old and is an up-and-coming star in the world of acting.

While she is currently known for her TV role in Bel-Air, Jones has previously acted in commercials and broadway and, in 2011, starred in The Son Of No One, which also featured big names such as Channing Tatum and Al Pacino.

In recent years, the San Antonio, Texas-native has racked up a few more acting credits as she featured on Showtime series American Rust as well as Netflix’s The Chair.

Jones is also set to appear in upcoming Billy Porter-directed film What If, which is in post-production according to its IMDb page.

The actress is also a singer

While she is on the rise as an actress, Simone Joy Jones is also a singer under the artist name S!mone.

The singer dropped her first track, We, in 2020 and followed up with the release of debut album Divine Mistakes in March last year.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports one of the songs from Jones’ album even features in the soundtrack of Bel-Air.
