In less than a month after its season 2 release, Netflix confirmed its commitment to You, by renewing the popular psychological-crime drama for a third season.
At the time TVLine confirmed that the next instalment would arrive in 2021, but didn’t specify when.

Just like with many other shows, whether on a streaming service or not, You saw its production put on hold thanks to the pandemic.
According to Netflix Like, filming for You season 3 resumed in November 2020 – and as Sera Gamble, the showrunner of the series proudly announced on her Twitter account, it wrapped up on 23 April.
There are reportedly 10 episodes in You season 3.

Who is Shalita Grant?
In October 2020, Netflix Queue announced that Shalita Grant would be joining You season 3.
Shalita Grant is known for her stints on NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans, where she plays Sonja Percy.

The actress was born on 28 August 1988 in Baltimore, USA.
According to her IMDb profile, Grant received a scholarship to attend the Julliard School for her B.F.A. in Drama, graduating in 2010.
Grant’s stage credits include Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Lincoln Centre, The Philanderer (The Pearl Theatre Company), and Merchant of Venice (The Public Theater), amongst others.
In the spring of 2013, she earned a Tony Award nomination for Featured Actress in a Play and won the 2013 Theatre World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut.
According to Advocate, Grant is currently dating MMA champion Jessica “Jag” Aguilar.
The two met through a mutual friend when Grant was open to dating again after her divorce from commercial director Sabrina Skau.
