Meet Barbara Gordon actress Savannah Welch
Savannah Welch was born on 4 August 1984 in Nashville, Tennessee, and is 37 years old. She is the daughter of singer-songwriter Kevin Welch.
She was formerly part of the group The Trishas alongside Liz Foster, Kelley Mickwee and Jamie Wilson. However, she only started singing publicly as a backing singer to her older brother.
Welch also has an incredibly impressive acting career, starring in Boyhood, The Transcendents and The Tree Of Life. She is also well known for playing Dawn in Six, and now Barbara Gordon in Titans.

She has lived in Wimberley, Texas, since 2008 and lives with long-term partner Jeff Burns, who is a real estate investor, and their son Charlie.
What happened to Savannah Welch’s leg?
Actor and musician Savannah Welch lost her leg in 2016 when a car hit her while she was at a farmers market in Wimberley. She was quickly airlifted to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin.
She told the Austin Chronicle about the accident:
“The very first thing, I looked at my leg. I was holding my hands around my leg. I was laying on the ground and I feel like I was on an incline, or maybe I just thought I was on an incline because I couldn’t see the rest of my leg. I was wearing skinny jeans and my leg was just bulging. It was huge. I was like, ‘What the hell?’ I was in excruciating pain and had no idea what had happened.”

Savannah has also shared her recent struggles with her prosthetic leg on her Instagram account. She states that the leg became incredibly painful for her, and was actually cutting off her circulation as it was no longer fitting into the socket.
Welch said that she has been on crutches for the past year, as she was in lockdown in Ontario, and also played Barbara Gordon in a wheelchair for Titans season 3.
New Titans series drops on HBO Max
Season 3 of HBO Max’s Titans hit the streaming platform yesterday. The first three episodes are available to watch now, with the following episodes dropping every Thursday.
The show is based on the comic book series Teen Titans, which follows young superheroes as they discover their powers and try to protect people against evil supervillains.
This series the action moves to Gotham, as fan favourites such as Brenton Thwaites and Anna Diop return. We also see new faces such as Vincent Kartheiser as Scarecrow, and Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake.
