When you get that precious bit of free time in your day, it’s always nice to know there is a sea of great sitcoms to lose yourself in.

A good laugh can’t be underappreciated and Workin’ Moms is particularly great at getting those.

Created by Catherine Reitman, the Canadian show began premiering on CBC in 2017 and audiences were thrilled to welcome it back for a sixth season earlier this year. Everybody has their favourite characters, with plenty of viewers sure to select Nikki Duval’s iconic creation as theirs.

A number of people have been highlighting her appearance of late and talking about Rosie from Workin’ Moms weight loss online.

Fans praise Rosie on Workin’ Moms’ weight loss

Legions of fans called her “beautiful” on her latest Instagram post

“Killing those gains,” one fan wrote. “You look amazing.” Similarly, another fan added she looks “incredible”.

Inevitably, the conversation spread to Twitter too, with some fans going as far as saying they didn’t recognise her when tuning in to recent episodes of Workin’ Moms.

Has Nikki Duval confirmed weight loss?

No, the actress hasn’t addressed she has lost weight in any interviews or social media posts.

However, fans who have been watching the show since the beginning have returned to earlier episodes and noticed a difference.

Considering she hasn’t addressed it herself, it’s difficult to say how much weight the star may have lost. However, Feetway speculates Nikki has lost about 20lb to 25lb (12kg to 15kg).

‘I am very proud of my red-headed genes’

A number of audiences are still checking out Workin’ Moms season 6 and Nikki sat down with New Scene Magazine earlier in 2022 to discuss the most recent episodes.

Towards the end of the chat the interviewer asked Nikki about her hair, asking whether it was natural or dyed and how she looks after it.

“Another lovely compliment,” she beamed. “Thank you! Yes, I am a natural redhead. And I don’t do much to my hair.” She began to speak about those who work on the show that help her achieve the look:

“Thankfully we have amazing hairstylists on-set that make my hair glow every day. I am very proud of my red-headed genes I get from my grandmother. Interestingly enough, though, as a child/teenager, even early adult, I hated my red hair. I got bullied a lot for it and I was always insecure about being different.”

She revealed she dyed her hair black for years but now feels glad she embraces her true self.
