New LGBT spy show drops on Netflix
Q-Force is a an adult animated comedy based around a group of queer super-spies.
The series follows Mary after he has been ostracised from the heteronormative spy community once he comes out as gay. He decides to prove himself, as him and his team work on a new case for the American Intelligence Agency (AIA).

Who is Mary from Q-Force?
Mary is the confident leader of the Q-Force team. He was a promising young spy but his career fell apart when he came out as gay.
In 2011 he was on track to be valedictorian at the AIA academy. However, he came out to his class as gay and was soon demoted, ending up working in one of the safest areas in the world.
His main skills include expertise in hand-to-hand combat, weaponry, horse riding, and he can also speak multiple languages.
However, while he is normally confident, and sometimes egotistical, he does struggle with seducing targets as he hasn’t got as much experience.

Do Mary and Benji end up together?
During the series Mary begins dating small-business owner Benji, played by Gabe Liedman. However, it is impossible for Mary to tell him that he works for the AIA.
Mary leaves Benji to protect him from the dangers of the spy life. However, they can’t stay away from each other and meet again at Pride in Gyenorvya.
While under mind control Benji beats Mary up. Once he is fully recovered he realises what he has done and feels awful about it, leaving Mary again.
However, at the end of the series Mary reveals to Benji that he works for the AIA and it appears that the couple get back together. I guess we will have to wait for season 2 to find out for sure.
