Who is Naomi Matsuda?
Naomi Matsuda is an actress born in Nagasaki, Japan. She moved over to San Diego in the US when she was only five years old and has worked in the television industry since 1999.
Her background is in dance, having learnt traditional Japanese dance from the age of seven, as well as jazz and ballet as she got older.
Matsuda then moved to Los Angleles to chase her acting dreams. She studied under Ivanna Chubbuck, Harry Mastrogeorge and Cameron Thor and booked her first major role in The X Files.

She has since starred in major shows such as New Girl, American Crime Story, and Escape The Night.
The actor also is a passionate humanitarian and animal lover, who wants to open her own animal shelter in the future.
Was Naomi Matsuda on Days Of Our Lives?
According to her IMDB page, Matsuda played the part of Tori in 12 episodes of Days Of Our Lives in 2015.
However, although her IMDB states that she played the part of Tori it appears that this role actually went to actress Hira Ambrosino, who played the role in 23 episodes.
Tori Narita was the mom of Paul Narita, an all-star pitcher. He came out to her as gay in one of the episodes, and their storyline revolved around coming to terms with her traditional Japanese upbringing.
Days Of Our Lives is an American soap opera that has been running since 1965.

Who does she play on The Bold And The Beautiful?
Naomi Matsuda is joining The Bold And The Beautiful cast as Li Finnegan, alongside Ted King. They are going to play the parents of Finn, who is portrayed by Tanner Novlan.
They arrive just before they’re about to become grandparents for the first time, with Finn’s partner Steffy about to give birth.
The pair are set to bring some very important news about Finn’s back story and childhood.
Li is a surgeon from the East Coast, and only realised that she wanted to have children later on in her life. This meant that she was split between raising her son and being dedicated to her career.

Ted King’s first episode will air on 30 July, while Matsuda will be appearing on 2nd August.
