Martin Sensmeir and his wife Kahara Hodges were recently seen at the 1883 premiere, which is a series created by Taylor Sheridan. They are a real power couple and this has led fans to want to get to know Sensmeir’s wife, Kahara Hodges, a little more.

Meet Martin Sensmeir’s wife Kahara Hodges

Kahara Hodges is married to actor and model, Martin Sensmeier. The couple shares a baby boy together.

Hodges will be 26 in 2022 and is a native of Arizona. Her ethnicity is a mix of Navajo, Mexican, English, and African descent. The singer is from the Ta’neeszahnii (Tangle People) clan and her ancestral home in Ganado, AZ.

Kahara Hodges is a singer who gained global fame after singing the Navajo anthem for the Arizona State University (ASU) in Navajo, volleyball game in 2013. From there she garnered a large fan base and gained global fame.

She is also a former participant for Arizona Ambassadors of Music Tour 2013. The Arizona Ambassadors gave her the chance to travel around the world and perform in England, France, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, and Italy. She is also a popular model and has featured in a Kim Kardashian West beauty (KKW) campaign in 2019.

When Kahara was younger she went to Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe, AZ. She participated in choir, school clubs, and was on sports teams. However, music was her true passion and she took lessons, but she also took part in community service and leadership.

Martin Sensmeier joins the 1883 cast as Sam, a Native American who is the new ‘friend’ Elsa meets, sparks definitely begin to fly. In the seventh episode, Sam tells Elsa about how he killed his wife’s murderer and took the man’s name.

Sam is a protective Comanche warrior who oversees a portion of the Native American territory that Shea Brennan and his caravan are passing through. Later on in the episode, Elsa kisses Sam and he saves Elsa from the bandits. This could definitely be the start of something new!
