Mark Grossman’s role on The Young And The Restless explored
Adam has been portrayed by several actors over the years, including Chris Engen, Michael Muhney and Justin Hartley, along with Mark Grossman, who was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his work as Adam in 2020.
Mark walked on canvas to begin portraying Adam Newman on The Young And The Restless in March 2019. His first scenes aired in May of that year and not long after walking on the scope as bad boy Newman, he and Sharon Case began dating in real life.
Recently on the soap, he is with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) while Chelsea is trying to grieve over losing her friend Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). However, we all know Chelsea was the one who helped him move on from Sharon in the first place.
Sharon and Rey had argued over her friendship with ex, Adam Newman, for months. Just as things were going well between them, Rey was killed off in March after his portrayer Jordi Vilasuso was let go from the soap.
Mark Grossman feeling Young and Restless with adrenaline-filled hobbies
Mark Grossman is 35 years old but, with the number of activities he does, the soap star seems to have the energy of a 21-year-old. When he’s away from the set Mark enjoys being outdoors, so let’s take a look at some of his favourite things to do.
The first is motocross. Mark loves going to Canyon Motocross in Los Angeles to hit the dirt trails on his Honda bike and ‘vroom vroom’ the day away.

The actor also likes going on hikes. One of his favourites walks is the Jackson Hole trail in Wyoming.
Who could forget golf? When Mark wants to relax, you’ll find him on the driving range.
