Would it really be a new season of Stranger Things without some classic introductions?
The Duffer brothers’ cherished sci-fi horror series delivered a host of exciting and loveable characters in season 1 and subsequent seasons have only given us more people to love – and in some cases hate – passionately.
There has been much discussion surrounding the potential new faces we may meet in season 4 part 1. However, we no longer have to let our imaginations do the work. Now, we can finally meet the newcomers.
From jocks to cheerleaders, from bullies to nerds, there are some curious new faces to become acquainted with this time around. Indeed, one of them is undoubtedly Fred Benson, played by Logan Riley Bruner.

Logan Riley Bruner arrives in Stranger Things
There’s a new nerd in town and his name is Fred Benson.
Although not a central character, we’re introduced to him as somebody who may soon discover just how dangerous a place Hawkins can be. He has dreams of becoming a revered journalist and is already aiming to break big.
Logan Riley Bruner nails the stereotypical 1980s geek and it’s no surprise to see he’s a great new addition considering the 24-year-old New York-based actor has already showcased his talents in many other projects.
His TV work includes Tucci & Jones (he played Jones Riley Jones), The Marvellous Mrs Maisel (Lance), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Kyle), Orange Is The New Black (Balls), and he was also recently in an episode of FBI (Peter Bryson).
On the other hand, he was in such movies as The Half Of It (One Person), Vox Lux (Cullen Active), and The Reunion (Young Ricky). Looking ahead, he’s set to star in a horror thriller called Circle Of 3s as Lester Jefferson.

He broke the news of his Stranger Things role in March, taking the time to share his excitement about the opportunity:
“Getting to work on this show was such a blessing through the pandemic, to work with an amazing cast and an absolutely incredible crew was one of the biggest joys of my life thus far and I cannot wait for you all to get to meet Fred Benson.”
He added he “can’t believe it’s real”. Of course, fans can now kick back and enjoy his performance.
