Kelly Thiebaud ‘praying’ as pet pooch to undergo surgery
Thiebaud pre-warned us a couple of weeks ago that things weren’t looking good for her dog as she shared on Whiskey’s Instagram that he was “in some pain right now.” Although she didn’t clarify exactly what was wrong with him she did tell fans that he was having a CT scan and some more tests. These procedures were to confirm whether or not he had torn “a ligament and needed an orthopaedic surgery called TPLO.” She then asked her followers to “Please keep Mr. Whiskers in your thoughts and prayers.”

It appears the scans showed that Whiskey needed more help as Thiebaud shared in an update “My lil’ angel is heading into surgery today” with Dr. Schulman. Without confirming that Whisky had torn a ligament, the actor is naturally “feeling worried and emotional about it all” and just wants her little pooch to be back chasing squirrels as he loves to do.
Kelly Thiebaud shares an Instagram update for Whiskey
The post reads: “My lil angel is heading in to surgery today… I’m feeling worried and emotional about it all but he’s in great hands with Dr. Schulman. Praying for a successful surgery and speedy recovery! So many squirrels waiting to be chased by you my Whiskey. ❤️”
Kelly also wrote that she hopes Whiskey has a speedy recovery, especially as his birthday is coming up on the 16th of June. Thiebaud adopted Whiskey, who was originally called Stanley, from Tazzy Animal Rescue Fund in Los Angeles. Kelly drove over 800 miles to get the pooch but called the adoption “one of the best decisions” that she has ever made.
