The TV star admitted it’s easy at times to have a “million other distractions” or to take things for “granted”. But at this time, he wanted to sit quietly in the room where his father “took his last breath” and be in the moment.

He tweeted: “Writing from some quiet contemplation as I sit in the very room my father took his last breath. Grateful to be here. Humbled by the gift it is to be alive and healthy and loved.

“I spend my time on a million other distractions and take so much for granted. But not in this moment.”

Laura Wright wrote “beautiful” in response to his tweet.

Fans also responded to send their well-wishes and thoughts to the actor.

Chad Stuart’s pop duo were a hit in the Sixties

Chad Stuart, of Brit pop duo Chad & Jeremy, rose to fame in the Sixties. They had hits with A Summer Song and Yesterday’s Gone.

They were part of what music peers later called the British Invasion, when performers from the UK, led by the Beatles, dominated the US charts.

Chad & Jeremy split up in 1968 before getting back together in the 1980s, and then again in 2000. Jeremy Clyde, his partner in crime, focused on becoming an actor while Chad stayed true to music.

The 79-year-old passed away in December as a result of pneumonia, writes Soap Dirt.
