Is Tucker Carlson vaccinated? Fox viewers wonder after Covid jab comments

Is Tucker Carlson vaccinated? The Fox host used his show last night to talk about president Joe Biden’s covid-19 vaccine rollout, prompting people to ask whether the anchor has had the shot himself.

What did Tucker Carlson say about the Covid vaccine?

Tucker Carlson Tonight is “the sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness and group think,” according to Fox.

The show airs weeknights at 8 pm ET and features the titular host giving his view on all manner of things across the news spectrum.

  • TRENDING: What happened to Tucker Carlson’s “split” lip?

Last night, the 51-year-old anchor was giving his view on president Joe Biden’s efforts to stem the covid-19 pandemic. Carlson shared his belief that the president, despite promising there would be no mandate on vaccination, appears to be making the jab a requirement.

He went on to claim: “Just because there’s no official federal requirement to take the coronavirus vaccine, does not mean that you and your family won’t be required to take it.

“With the full backing of the Biden administration, private industry and nonprofits may be forcing you to. For example, colleges across the country have announced they will require vaccine passports in the fall.”

While a few US colleges have updated their vaccine requirements, this is a far cry from people being “forced” into the jab, as Carlson claimed on last night’s show.

Still, last night’s show sparked curiosity among viewers – is Tucker Carlson himself vaccinated?

Is Tucker Carlson vaccinated?

During last night’s episode, Carlson said that while he recognises the importance of the vaccine, he feels that having “powerful drugs injected into your body is the most intimate kind of personal health decision.”

So, has he made that personal health decision? viewers wonder.

On his show, Carlson gives mixed messages on the subject of coronavirus, and mask wearing in particular. In March last year, he said “of course” masks work to restrict the spread of the disease, but later went back on that claim, saying that he believes social distancing and mask-wearing have “no basis” in science.

Comments like these have got people wondering whether the 51-year-old Tucker Carlson has been vaccinated himself.

Carlson hasn’t clarified whether he has had the vaccine, but his comments may suggest that he hasn’t. In a mid-April episode this year, he wondered aloud why, if someone has had a jab, they should continue wearing a mask in public.

  • REVEALED: Who is Connor on NCIS New Orleans?

In the latest edition of HBO’s Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Oliver mentioned that about 30% of Republicans in the US said that they won’t get the vaccine and namechecked Carlson on that list.

All things considered, it may be fair to assume, as some critics have done, that Carlson may be opposed to getting vaccinated, but this cannot be confirmed as he hasn’t given a definitive answer and has in the past acknowledged the jab’s importance, too.

His firebrand approach to questioning the Biden Administration has also led to big ratings, meaning that it works for Fox for him to continue his current line.

In the end, viewers may have to wait for a definitive answer to the question of whether Carlson has been vaccinated for covid-19 – which he sees as a very personal health decision.
