Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character Maddie Buckley is pregnant on the hit Fox show 9-1-1. However, many fans are wondering if Hewitt is also pregnant in real life. Keep reading to find out.
Is Jennifer Love Hewitt pregnant?
Today, 19 May, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt announced she is indeed pregnant in real life, and expecting baby no.3 with husband Brian Hallisay.
However, at the time her character Maddie got pregnant on Season 4 of the hit show 9-1-1, Hewitt had not yet announced her third pregnancy or plans for it.
Hewitt is married to former co-star Brian Hallisay and they have two children together, Autumn and Atticus.
The pair reportedly first met while filming NBC’s Love Bites but it wasn’t until 2012 when they got together on the show The Client List.
Hallisay has also appeared as an actor in 9-1-1, playing Doug Kendall between 2018-2019.
Who does she play in 9-1-1?
Love Hewitt plays Maddie Buckley who is the sister of Evan “Buck” Buckley. When we first meet her she is on the run from an abusive relationship and hasn’t seen her brother in about three years.
Due to her having worked as an ER nurse, her brother suggests she trains to become a 9-1-1 operator.
It was revealed at the end of Season 3 that Maddie was pregnant. Her partner is Howard “Howie”/”Chimney” Han. However, Chimney is quarantining separately from Maddie just to make sure that she is safe.
According to TVInsider the writers have big plans for their relationship:
“You can rest assured that while of course they will be facing challenges, they will be facing danger because of the line of work they’re in, we have some really heartwarming and aspirational and wonderful story ideas coming up for them.”
We can’t wait to see what else the series has in store for this burgeoning family.
