Who is Hannah Kepple? Age and career of Cobra Kai's Moon explored

Karate Kid spin-off Cobra Kai is back on our screens as the fourth season dropped on Netflix last week. Its comeback sees the return of some well-known cast members, including Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. 

As well as the return of the series’ main cast, the fourth instalment also features supporting characters, including Moon, who has become a favourite among fans. 

We explore more about Moon actress Hannah Kepple including her age and career away from the new release.

Meet Hannah Kepple’s Cobra Kai character Moon

Moon is best known as a cheerleader and West Valley high school student, having featured on the show since its first season. 

Hannah Kepple’s character is seen to initially take on a supporting role within the series as Moon as in the first season, she is introduced as the best friend of fellow West Valley high school student Yasmine. 

As the show continued into its second and third seasons, Moon takes on a more involved role within the show as the love interest of Eli Moskowitz, better known as Hawk. 

Sadly, the romance between the two characters was brief, as Moon, after breaking things off, goes on to date West Valley athlete Piper. Despite things between them being over, as per ScreenRant, Moon is said to come to her ex’s aid in the new season.

How old is Hannah Kepple?

As she returns as Moon on Cobra Kai’s season four, some fans are curious to know Hannah Kepple’s age as she plays a high schooler on the show. 

The Moon actress is seen to be quite a bit older than her character as she is currently 21 years old and celebrated her latest birthday in November as per her IMDb. 

While she may no longer be a high school student, Kepple previously revealed she was in her junior year when she auditioned for Cobra Kai. 

In a 2020 interview with Let’s Dive In where she reflected on the audition process for the series, Kepple explained: “I had just recently started acting in film or at least auditioning and getting an agent in my local area. This was my junior year of high school, I believe it was the beginning of my junior year.”

What else has she been in?

While Hannah Kepple has become familiar to audiences for her current role on Cobra Kai, the actress is no stranger to the screen. 

The young star has acted alongside some familiar stars in Amazon Original Tell Me Your Secrets, Shudder’s Creepshow and Disney’s Just Beyond. 

As per her IMDb, she is also set to feature in the upcoming high school drama The Class, which is currently in post-production.
