Fox News @ Night’s Shannon Bream is set to take on hosting duties on the network’s Sunday news show. Her new role was announced on Thursday (August 11), which has prompted some Fox News viewers to wonder about the journalist’s family life and husband.

Bream will become Fox News Sunday’s first female host in more than two decades as she takes over from Chris Wallace, who left the network last year. 

As she prepares to step into her new role, we take a look at the journalist’s life off-screen and get to know Shannon Bream’s husband Sheldon a bit better.

Meet Shannon Bream’s husband Sheldon 

The Fox News host’s other half, Sheldon Bream, is a professional speakers representative who manages talent from different industries who are booked to speak at events.

Sheldon is founder of his own talent company, Bream Speaker Management, which he launched in 2018, as per his Linkedin.

The company represents several speakers, including his wife Shannon and other Fox News contributors such as Jason Chaffetz and Richard Fowler.

Prior to founding his own management company, Sheldon worked for corporate speaking talent agency Washington Speakers Bureau for more than 13 years as director of relations.

Sheldon has also served the International Association of Speakers Bureaus in committee roles and leadership.

The couple are college sweethearts

Shannon and Sheldon met during their college days at Liberty University. The Fox News host received a degree in business from the Virginia university, while her husband studied sports management and business.

In 2019, Sheldon admitted he knew he was going to marry Shannon after their first date. While he joined his wife on Fox News @ Night, he said: “After our first date, I went back and told my roommates I was going to marry you.”

The couple tied the knot in 1995. However, just before they wed Sheldon was diagnosed with a brain tumor. At the time of his diagnosis, the couple were engaged, with Shannon also in law school at Florida State University. 

While discussing Sheldon’s tumor recovery with Fox Nation’s Abby Hornacek, she explained it was removed following a nine-hour surgery and it was found to be benign.

Shannon Bream’s net worth and career explored

The Fox News host has been part of the network for 15 years, having joined in 2007.

Bream initially worked as a Washington DC-based correspondent for the network but has become known as host and anchor on FOX News @ Night. 

As well as her anchoring duties, she also hosts Fox News radio podcast Livin’ The Bream and is a chief legal correspondent across the network.

Before her role at Fox News, Bream worked at several local TV stations including NBC-owned WRC-TV and ABC affiliate WFTS.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates the anchor has a fortune of $10 million. The site also estimates Bream’s annual salary as a whopping $3 million.
