With an outstanding resume of accolades, fans of the soap are keen to know what his net worth is; particularly how much he makes per episode.

Eric Braeden’s episode appearance fee is ridiculous
Eric Braeden has a net worth of $25 million dollars. Having over 40 years on Y&R the majority of his income is from the soap opera, but not all.
At 80 years old, he has spent a lifetime acting and with over four decades under his belt portraying Victor Newman he has done quite the stint…and earned himself an outrageous amount of money.
Eric Braeden has been featured on the show since 1980 so it can only be suggested that he’s making over $5k per episode.
This means he is making $4.25 million per year and if we’re to split that into months it would be $354,166.67. Per week Eric will therefore be making around $81,730.77 which is $11,643.84 a day. Wow, wouldn’t we all love to be making $8.09 per minute?
Braeden won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1998 for Lead Actor in a Drama Series for the role of Victor Newman. He even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Who is Eric Braeden?
Eric Braeden was born Hans-Jörg Gudegast on April 3, 1941 in Bredenbek, Germany. His father was once a mayor of Bredenek but the family later moved to the USA in 1959 for a better life.
Eric graduated from The University of Montana in Missoula and later decided that he wanted to get into acting. Besides his role on The Young and the Restless, you may also recognise him as Hans Dietrich in the 1960s TV series The Rat Patrol.
On the Y&R he has been married 14 times but in real life, it is quite the opposite. He has been married only once, to childhood sweetheart, Dale Russell Gudegast who has been his wife since 1966.
Eric Braeden’s previous roles
Some of Braeden’s first appearances are in shows such as Combat, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and 12 O’Clock High which he did in the early 1960s.
Eric also played John Jacob Astor IV in one of the most iconic films of all time, the 1997 Titanic. He also had a starring role in the 1970 movie Colossus: The Forbin Project.
Colossus: The Forbin Project is the film where he got his stage name ‘Eric Braeden’ from. The reason he changed his name is because Lew Wasserman told him that he wouldn’t be able to star in an American film if he had a German name.
