Did Tom tell Logan the kids were coming?
Succession fans are curious to know whether Tom told Logan that the kids were coming. Well, in the final moments of the episode, it was revealed that Tom did tell Logan and betrayed his wife and the Roy siblings. This is because he told Logan about the Roy siblings’ plan to take away their father’s power.
The Roy siblings are shareholders in the company too and disagree with their father’s decision to sign off a large wage of the company. The children plan to put a hold on his father’s decision. Although, this doesn’t go to plan as Tom aka Matthew Macfadyen warns Logan of his children’s plans to stop him. To overcome this, Logan alters the divorce settlement and changes it so the children no longer have a say on the cause.
Succession season 3 episode 9
The siblings were positive they could stop their father from selling part of the business so they asked Tom to be prepared to make an ATN announcement that Logan was leaving the company. Tom then asked Cousin Greg to help him out and betrayed the siblings to confide in Logan.
The Roy siblings confronted Logan about his business deal plans and Logan told them it was all for the best. He then got his assistant to call Kendall, Shiv and Roman’s mother, who confirmed details of their divorce agreement had been changed.
They were all stunned and when Logan had left Shiv murmured, “Who told him that we were coming?” This is when fans started guessing who it could have been, and the main culprit was Tom.
This was all confirmed when Tom returned and Logan gave him a smirk and a pat on the back. Shiv seems to realise that Tom has let on to the plan but doesn’t confront him in episode 9.
Tom’s wife looks beyond fuming with him and fans can’t wait to see what is in store for the Roy family when the story finally unravels.
