Peacock TV’s new docuseries John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise details the life of one of the USA’s most disturbing ever killers and people want to know where they can watch it. Is it on Netflix? Let’s take a look.
Devil in Disguise: Who is John Wayne Gacy?
First of all, lets take a look into the main protagonist, the Devil in Disguise himself.
John Wayne Gacy was born in Chicago, Illinois on 17 March 1942. His father was a WW1 veteran and his mother a homemaker in a catholic household.
He has been dubbed the Devil in Disguise because despite his public appearance of a successful businessman, politician and children’s entertainer, he was actually a brutal murderer and rapist who at the time of arrest, had 33 victims.

Gacy was convicted of assaulting a teenage boy in Waterloo, Iowa, in 1968 and was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment, but served just 18 months.
Two years later he murdered his first victim, setting off a string of killings that would only end when Gacy was arrested in connection with the disappearance of teenager Robert Piest on 21 December, 1978.
He exclusively killed boys and young men and most of the time hid the bodies in the crawl space of his house.
Gacy was sentenced to death on 13 March, 1980. He was executed by lethal injection at Stateville Correctional Center, Illinois on 10 May, 1994.
