Days Of Our Lives’ Tamara Braun has dusted the cobwebs off of her memory box as she reminisces over some old photos of herself many moons ago.

The actress portrayed the role of Carly Corinthos on General Hospital from 2001–2005 and Reese Williams on All My Children from 2008 to 2009. However, the soap opera veteran is arguably best known as Ava Vitali on Days Of Our Lives.

Braun is 51 years old which may shock fans thanks to her ageless beauty and youthful looks. She has many memories to look back on, so let’s take a look at some of her favorites…

Days’ Tamara Braun reminisces over old photo

Tamara Braun has had a busy weekend filing through her memory box and she shared one of the photos she found in a flashback Friday post.

The actress cleverly captioned the snap “3 T’s for the price of 1” as the photo shows a young Tamara in her bathing suit taking a photo of someone else taking a photo. The picture has been duplicated to become a collage of three, in different color tones, orange, purple and green.

Braun wrote in the caption to her 101,000 followers, “Hope your day is going well. I’ll become more active here again soon.” she promised fans as she gone through a tough time recently resulting in her being pretty MIA from social media.

On August 8, Ava’s portrayer shared that her best friend, Lea Petmezas, had tragically passed away on July 14. Therefore Braun was “Going through boxes of memories looking for Lea” when she found the throwback photo of herself. Before sharing it was “Silly. Young fun. Tamara Braun mourns best friend amid social media break

Braun has recently returned to social media with posts dedicated to her best friend who passed away following months of suffering health problems.

The GoFundMe page for Lea revealed that Petmezas was diagnosed with brain tumors and following a 15-hour life-changing surgery on July 12 the brave woman sadly passed away two days later.

Braun shared a heartfelt tribute to Lea in a bereavement poem titled “Immortality” which was written by Clare Harner in 1934. In addition to the poem was a picture of Tamara and Lea laughing together in 2010 whilst on a trip to Death Valley National Park.

Braun often goes through her memory boxes, but one old photo had crept into her box of tax stuff that she was about to shred. The actress wrote, “Thank you bad filing for the gift of a very creative and artistically fulfilling time in my life.”

The picture comes from a play Braun was in called Tennessee in the Summer, written by Joe Besecker which follows Tennessee Williams’ life. The actress recalls that Jack Heller played Tennessee and Tamara played Woman, the voices in his head. Braun recalled, “I loved this play and working with the incredible cast and stellar director and friend @salromeo What a lovely memory.”
