9 News meteorologist Danielle Grant is set to become a mom as she confirmed to fans on social media she is pregnant.
Grant has become a familiar face to viewers of the station in Denver, Colorado, having been part of the weather team for almost a decade.
Last month, the 9 News personality surprised fans on social media as she revealed she’s expecting a baby.

9 News’ Danielle Grant is pregnant!
Taking to Instagram last month, 9 News meteorologist Grant revealed she is pregnant and set to become a mom this fall.
In the post to her 17,600 followers on Father’s Day, Grant and husband Bill posed while holding a set of ultrasound scans.
Captioning the post, the 9 News personality revealed they are expecting a daughter who is due on Thanksgiving Day.
Grant also candidly spoke about on her pregnancy journey as she explained she and her husband had “struggled with infertility and miscarriage”. She ended the post as she gushed about her excitement and how grateful she is for “the most precious gift” God could give her and her husband.
Taking to the comments, some of her 9 News colleagues congratulated Grant on her baby news, including anchors Alexandra Lewis and Kyle Clark.
She’s already a dog mom to Walter
As well as her expected new arrival, 9News’ Danielle Grant is also a dog mom to her basset hound Walter.
In her pregnancy post, Grant mentioned Walter as she gushed about how he is “excited to be a big bro”.
In a later upload, she shared a sweet snap of Walter wearing a bandana that read: “I thought I was the the baby.”
Captioning the post, the meteorologist added she will always see him as her “first born”.
Walter is no stranger to 9 News viewers
Audiences may already know Walter as he has previously appeared by Grant’s side on 9 News.
At the start of the pandemic in March 2020, the meteorologist apologised to viewers on Facebook for Walter’s barking during one of her forecasts.
While sharing a snap of herself and Walter on the clock, she joked: “Sorry ’bout all the barking on 9 News at 5pm! Walter is a wild man. Let’s see if he behaves at 9pm and 10pm.”
In July 2021, Grant introduced Walter to audiences as he chilled in the 9 NEWS backyard. At the time, Grant gushed about how many emails she received from viewers about her “sweet Walter”.
Grant has been at 9 News for almost a decade
In May, the 9 News meteorologist celebrated her ninth work anniversary at the Denver station.
In honour of the milestone, Grant shared a collage of snaps from her time at the NBC affiliate as she thanked fans for following her “adventures” over the years.
During her time as part of the station, Grant has become familiar to viewers for her weekend evening forecasts.
