Christel Khalil appears to be having the most magical summer vacation in Rome, Italy, where she has travelled with her family. The soap star has shared many beautiful snaps and even a quick travel vlog with her 119,000 Instagram followers.
Although the actor captioned her recent holiday photo “I think I belong here” fans are pretty certain she won’t give up her LA girl lifestyle. After all, she was born and raised, in the city of Los Angeles in a large family with three older brothers and a younger half-sister.
The actor also couldn’t leave behind her tight-knit friendship group which consists of a couple of her co-stars. In fact, she’s best friends with her on-screen brother, Bryton James who is even the godfather of her child and was a groomsman at her wedding. Fellow co-star Elizabeth Hendrickson was also a bridesmaid at her 2008 wedding to Stephen Hensley.

In a recent snap, Christel can be seen with a pair of sunnies on gazing into the sunshine with her hand on a sunhat, an orange maxi dress and a chic teel woven bag.
Christel also shared a photo dump full of the stunning views at the Boboli Gardens in Florence. This site is a historical Italian park that was first opened to the public in 1766 and was initially designed for the Medici which was an Italian banking family.
The actor has travelled to Italy with her fiancé, Sam Restagno, who is of Italian descent. Christel does have a child of her own who she shares with her ex-husband Stephen Hensley. She gave birth to their baby in 2010 when she was 23 years old, her son recently turned twelve as she shared on Instagram, “Where did the time go?”
