Who is Caitlin Thompson?
Caitlin Thompson was born on 1 July 1987 in Avon Lake, Ohio.
She is married to This Is Us show creator Dan Fogelman and the couple have recently had a baby together, Benjamin. Caitlin took to Instagram to share the good news with fans.
Thompson has also been outspoken in her support for Democratic candidate Joe Biden in this year’s upcoming US presidential election.
Who does Caitlin Thompson play in This Is Us?
Thompson plays Madison in This Is Us. She was originally introduced as the best friend of Kate (Chrissy Metz) and was only intended to be a side character on the show.
However, at the end of season 4, fans were shocked to find out that Madison was expecting twins with Kevin (Justin Hartley), after the two slept together on a whim!

What can we expect from season 5 of This Is Us?

It seems from the season 5 trailer that we can expect the rivalry between Kevin and Randall to continue, perhaps affected by the news of Kevin’s twins. Fans are also looking forward to a storyline about Randall’s birth mother, Laurel and a potential deep-dive into the relationship between Rebecca and Miguel.
This is not going to be the last season of This Is Us, as show runners have envisioned a six-season length for the series.
