Baldwin leaving CNN after 13 years

Brooke Baldwin is a CNN anchor who was born on 12 July 1979 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is 41 years old.

She studied Spanish at the University of North Carolina and journalism at the Hussman School of Journalism and Media. After working for local TV stations she joined CNN in 2008.

She is best known for her work as a host of CNN Newsroom, as well as her Coronavirus Diary, which documented her experience after contracting covid-19.

Brooke Baldwin recently announced a book that she has been working on called Huddle: How Women Unlock Their Collective Power.

She stated she is feeling vulnerable announcing her exit from CNN after 13 years:

“No, I don’t have a job I’m jumping right into. And yes, yes, I’m feeling very vulnerable. But what is it Brené Brown says? Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity, and change. And I am so excited about what is to come.”

It looks like Baldwin is looking to focus more on her own projects, such as her book, and expand her career beyond the CNN newsroom.
