Daytime alum Adrienne Frantz, better known as Amber from Y&R and B&B, had to take her newborn son, Killian, to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at the weekend.
The Daytime Emmy winner has fallen off the CBS soap scene since 2013 when her character, Amber Moore, made her way to Y&R. When the actor was on The Bold And The Beautiful, Amber had a baby but three men wanted to be the child’s father, Marcus Forrester (Texas Battle) turned out to be the lucky dad.
In real life the actor has had three children of her own but sadly she recently shared her newborn was poorly.

B&B’s Adrienne Frantz asks for ‘prayers’ for newborn
On 21 May, Adrienne shared the news on Instagram that her newborn baby boy had fallen ill. The actor shared a selfie of her and poorly Killian in a baby carrier from the Cedars-Sinai hospital waiting room.
Adrienne asked her followers to send good vibes and welcomed any prayers. “Nothing like being in the hospital with your newborn,” the soap star wrote. “He has been up all night with a really high fever for an 11-week-old. Say some prayers for little Killian.”
Killian’s high fever was put down to a very high white blood count and he was eventually released from the hospital but, after the fever continued, they returned the following day. However, with his mommy singing the Beatles to him and a doctor giving him his first taste of sugar, it appears he’s on the road to recovery. Fingers crossed he’ll be back playing with his big brother, Lion, and older sister, Amélie, soon!
Adrienne Frantz family life
Frantz’s husband Scott Bailey, aka Sandy from Guiding Light, has been by her side throughout everything – even in work. She recently appeared on DOOL spin-off Beyond Salem alongside her husband as they played Sophie and Miles. However, the couple have experienced their fair share of heartbreak too as Frantz has suffered two miscarriages.
It has been a rough couple of months for the mom as, when she gave birth to Killian, she suffered some complications. Fans may remember she had also had complications after the birth of her second child, Lion. Then her daughter, Amélie, brought home a bug from school the whole family caught. Following that, Frantz admitted she had “a hard few weeks without sleep adjusting to our new addition but I wouldn’t change it for the world”.
