New miniseries WeCrashed, based on the podcast of the same name, arrived on streaming service Apple TV+ on Friday, 18 March 2022. It follows the rise and fall of WeWork, once one of the world’s most valuable startups, at the centre of which were Adam and Rebekah Neumann. But what do we know about Adam Neumann’s sister Adi, played by Shanti Ashanti in the series?
Who is Adam Neumann’s sister Adi, and what does she do?
Adi Neumann is a former Miss Teen Israel who went on to become a successful model. She was modelling professionally when she moved with her brother Adam to New York in the early 2000s.
She and her husband Avi Yehiel celebrated their 10th anniversary in June 2021, according to a series of updates on her Instagram page.

Adi regularly posts pictures of her and Avi and their two children, six-year-old Nika and her four-year-old brother David.
She was born in Israel in 1982, and will therefore turn 40 this year. Among other publications, she has featured on the front covers of Vogue, Bolero, Cosmopolitan, D and Marie Claire magazines.
Adi Neumann’s husband Avi used to work for her brother at WeWork
For four years and seven months, Avi Yehiel was an employee at WeWork.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he spent half a year as a quality control manager, more than a year as enterprise project manager, and finally two and a half years as head of wellness.
He stopped working for the company at the end of 2019, the same time Adam Neumann stepped down as chief executive. Yehiel has since become the chief executive of Hapoel Petah Tikva football club.

The Times of Israel reported in August last year that Neumann planned to invest NIS 1 million ($310,000) in the football (soccer) team.
Yehiel was himself a professional football player, from 1998 to 2013. He originally played for Hapoel Petah Tikva, but went on to play for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Maccabi Petah Tikva and Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

Shanti Ashanti plays Adi in WeCrashed. She appears in three episodes.

Ashanti is an Israeli model, singer and actor. She has trained ballet and modern dance, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in dance and theatre at Seminar-Hakibbutzim College in Tel Aviv.
She moved to New York in 2009, and has since appeared in several short films and two TV series, including WeCrashed. From 2015 to 2018, she portrayed Estie Bayuv in Where Do You Live?, appearing in 16 episodes.
