What does ‘SPWM’ mean on TikTok?

‘SPWM’ stands for ‘stop playing with me’, which means stop messing me around or don’t make fun of my feelings.

The slang phrase can be used in a number of different contexts and is commonly written across social media.

Some people use it to refer to people that are messing them around, and it’s said a lot in dating and relationships.

However, it can also be used to refer to other random life annoyances or things that are playing you around.

Slang acronym takes over social media

For example, one person wrote on Twitter/X: “I CANT BREATHE MY LASH APPOINTMENT JUST GOT RESCHEDULED PLS SPWM I CANT.”

“If I delete something off my story on Instagram why can people still see it spwm INSTAGRAM,” said another.

A third person added: “I don’t know, its something about that ‘spwm’ that makes me wanna play some more.”

The slang acronym has been circling the internet for years now, but has become even more popular in 2024.

It comes as the bizarre gibberish ‘jittleyang or futuluhtoogan’ is also taking over TikTok this month and confusing everyone.
