A new trend called ‘Me Without Curls vs Me With Curls’ is taking over TikTok this week and it’s really sweet.
The cute challenge publicly celebrates someone you loved dearly in 2023 as we approach the end of the year.

The trend involves posting a picture of two blonde Barbie dolls with different hairstyles. In the first, she has straight hair and the second is curly.
One image has the caption “Me Without Curls” while the second says “Me With Curls” and people are sharing photos that correspond to each.
First, you add a picture of yourself with straight hair and then swipe across to a person you love who has curly hair – like a boyfriend, wife or bestie.

Meaning of the viral TikTok trend
The cute challenge depicts how your life has changed for the better after meeting somebody who has curly hair.
It shows the difference between you “Without Curls” when you were on your own and “With Curls” as you spend time with that person.
In the first photo, the straight-haired person usually looks sad. Then, they are happy with their curly-haired significant other.

The trend has taken over TikTok and Twitter/X and everyone thinks it’s totally adorable.
