TikTok star Veruca Salt’s newborn baby has died suddenly at just seven weeks old and fans are ‘heartbroken’ for her.
The Australian-based influencer, whose real name is Kimberley Summer Hartley, gave birth to Cash on December 19 and his death comes as a huge shock.

Hartley revealed that her baby has passed away in an Instagram statement, writing: “It is with a heavy heart that I’m writing this.”
“I dont know what happened, he is having an autopsy this week but it is unlikely that Ill ever have an answer,” the 25-year-old continued.
“Im just saying this because people are still commenting on my�TikToks saying how happy I look with him and ‘just wait for the toddler stage’ and stuff, and I really cant take it anymore. Im really sorry.”
The New Zealand-born TikTok star has made her Instagram profile private, but screenshots of the statement are circling the internet.
Two days prior, the influencer revealed they were going to the hospital because Cash hadn’t “pooped” in seven days.
In the TikTok video, she showed off the newborn’s outfit, an adorable blue baby grow covered in sea animals, as she held him in her arms.
Sympathy pours in from fans
People are expressing their condolences across social media and sending their prayers following the devastating news.
One person wrote on Twitter/X: “No words can describe how heavy my heart is for Veruca Salt. She did not deserve this at all. Rip baby Cash.”
“Veruca Salt literally thrived as a mum and Cash adored her. I pray she surrounds herself with people she loves and I hope she gets answers for her sanity,” said another.
A third person added: “All my love lies with Veruca Salt right now, I hope shes surrounded by all the right people during this time. Rest in peace her beautiful baby boy Cash.”

The influencer started posting on TikTok in 2021 and has racked up more than 600,000 followers. She is also popular on OnlyFans.
Kimberley announced her pregnancy in June 2023 and documented the entire thing, relating to new mothers across the world.
