‘HG’ is yet another abbreviation that’s been used in text messages for some time, but some TikTok users aren’t able to figure out what it means.

What does HG mean on TikTok?

HG could mean all of these things – Hot Girl, Highly Gifted, Homegirl, and Holy Grail – depending on the context in which it’s used.

While some people on TikTok use the abbreviation to talk about beloved girlfriends, the same is popular among make-up lovers as Holy Grail.

For instance, the caption on one video with the abbreviation reads: “Me listening to my delusional ahh HG (Hot Girl)”

Hot Girl can also be used to refer to your pretty-looking lady friend, too. Like here, “POV: It’s that time of the year and you and your HG are single.”

Whereas, Holy Grail is used while discussing cosmetics that are the content creator’s favorite and best of all the make-up items they’ve tried.

Merriam-Webster defines HG (Holy Grail) as being “an object or goal that is sought after for its great significance”
