‘Locker Roulette’ at Amazon Package Pickup is the Internet’s new favorite trend
Something as mundane as picking up an Amazon package can now be fun if you’re into the Locker Roulette trend, which has divided users on the Internet over the “silly” factor associated with it. But, most of them have shut down the trolls for being critical of the fun game and thanked the people behind it for making their package pickup experience more exciting than ever.
What is Locker Roulette and how do you play it?
Based on the classic practice of Russian roulette, Locker Roulette requires you to stand facing the lockers, not knowing which one of them holds your package.
The lockers will not be numbered and you’re supposed to take a wild guess as to which one of them belongs to you. Before it’s opened, make sure to keep your distance so the door doesn’t slam you in your face.
People who aren’t aware of the functioning of Amazon’s package pickup facilities may find the new trend confusing, but a viral video showing a woman participating in it with utmost dedication explains the game better.
The original clip posted by ViralHog was filmed in Austin, Texas, where a woman has recorded herself taking part in the Locker Roulette trend until she gets hit in the face by the little door.
She caught every attempt on camera to make the game as fun and realistic, and Internet users can’t wait to try it for themselves when they visit the Amazon facility next.

You can be a part of the trend next time you go to pick up your package from the Amazon Locker, which opens only when you enter the six-digit pick-up code you would have received through email or via a barcode.
If the locker comes without a display screen, like the one seen in the video above, you can unlock it by connecting your Smartphone.
All you need to do is activate location and Bluetooth on your device and follow the below steps:
- Open the email confirming the delivery and select Start Pickup.
- Or go to Your Orders on Amazon Shopping App.
- Select Track Package and connect to the Locker to select Start Pickup.
- Once your device is connected, tap Open Locker.
The assigned locker will open and you can take out your package.
But, before unlocking the locker, stand before a slot you think could have your package, and voila! You’ve successfully taken part in the locker roulette trend.
