‘A Little About Myself’ trend on Instagram

The viral trend is a template that has a list of different categories you must answer about yourself including:

  • Age
  • Height
  • Shoe
  • Sign
  • Children
  • Tattoo
  • Phobias
  • Favorite Food
  • Favorie Color
  • Favorite Drink
  • Animals
  • Status
  • Music

You must write a word or phrase next to each one to answer that question. For example, ‘Sign’ could be ‘Capricorn’ and ‘Children’ might be ‘2’.

When you get to the song section, you need to add the song from Instagram’s music library using a sticker.

Instagram launches ‘Add Yours Templates’

The trend has gone viral following Instagram’s new Add Yours Templates, which has enhanced the shared sticker feature.

Instagram launched Add Yours back in 2021, which lets users create a sticker with a caption like ‘2023 memories’ or ‘pretty sunset’.

Others can then post a photo or video that relates to the statement on their own Story using the shared sticker.

For years, you could only add text, but Instagram has now introduced the ability to create entire templates that can be shared.

To try it for yourself, open a new Instagram Story and click on the smiley face in a square. Then, press ‘Add Yours Templates’.
