Apple recently released the advert for its latest product, the Apple Watch Series 7, which has had viewers guessing at the voice of the advert’s narrator.
The advert shows people taking part in health and exercise activities while showing off the watch’s features, including telling the user their blood oxygen level.
While the watch itself has caught the attention of many, some viewers were quick to share their guesses on Twitter as to who the narrator might be. We’ve taken a look into who’s narrating, why they might sound familiar and Twitter reactions.

Who is the voice of the latest Apple Watch advert?
Apple is known for celebrity voiceovers and cameos in its adverts, including Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar. British actress Helena Bonham Carter was the narrator in the 2020 Apple Watch advert.
The advert for the Series 7, which was released on Apple’s YouTube channel on 16 September, is narrated by American actor Ty Burrell.
Who is Ty Burrell?
Tyler Burrell, 54, is best known for his role as Phil Dunphy in ABC sitcom Modern Family.
Burrell has played many other roles throughout his career including Doc Samson in The Incredible Hulk. He has voiced characters in animated films such as Finding Dory and featured on Broadway in a production of Macbeth.
Aside from his acting career Burrell is father to two daughters, Frances and Gretchen, who he adopted with his wife, Holly.

Twitter reactions to Ty Burrell’s Apple Watch advert
Fans of the actor and comedian were quick to notice Burrell’s distinctive voice on the Apple Watch advert, with many expressing their excitement on Twitter.
While fans were happy to see their favourite actor make another TV cameo – Modern Family’s final season was in 2020 – Twitter users couldn’t help referring to Burrell’s character on the show, Phil Dunphy.
On many episodes of Modern Family, Phil Dunphy could be seen with his iPad, confirming to fans Burrell was the perfect fit for an Apple advert.
