Who is Yan Bingtao’s girlfriend?
Yan Bingtao’s girlfriend is Ada Zhang. According to yqqlm, Zhang accompanied Bingtao, who is now based in Sheffield, when he came to live in the UK. Like Bingtao, she is a Shandong native and now works in the UK.
According to the Sun, Zhang made her way into the Marshall Arena last night following the mid-session interval. The report indicated Zhang has been living with Bingtao since the pandemic began.
Ada appeared on our screens during the player’s celebrations. Speaking fluent English, she helped BBC reporter Jason Mohammad to conduct the interview, acting as an interpreter.

Yan Bingtao was a snooker prodigy
Yan Bingtao first made headlines when he became the youngest player to win the IBSF Amateur World Snooker Championship in 2014. He was only 14 years old. He beat Pakistan’s Muhammad Sajjad 8-7 in the final.
In doing so, he beat the record of fellow Chinese snooker player Zhou Yuelong, who had won the title the year before aged 15. The win saw Bingtao earn professional status for two years.
Bingtao partnered Yuelong as China’s B team in the 2015 Snooker World Cup. They went on to beat Scotland in the final, a team containing John Higgins, who Bingtao beat in the Masters final last night.
In the 2019-20 season, Bingtao claimed the Riga Masters title, his first ranked success.
It was his first appearance in the Masters this year and Bingtao became the sixth debutant to win the tournament.
