Vick Hope to present from Japan for Channel 4
Channel 4 will be the home for all Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games coverage in the UK, broadcasting more than 300 hours of action.
Vick Hope will be part of the the team bringing the Paralympics to UK audiences live from Japan.
Alongside the likes of Ade Adepitan, Vick Hope will report from Tokyo every day throughout the two-week games.

Who is Vick Hope? Her career so far
Vick Hope studied modern languages at the University of Cambridge before hosting a show for MTV in Buenos Aires.
Since then, the 31-year-old has had a number of presenting and media roles.
Her work includes, Crufts on Channel 4, The X Factor on ITV, The Voice UK, and being the red carpet host of the 2020 BAFTA Film awards.
In 2018, it was announced Hope would be a contestant on the 16th series of Strictly Come Dancing.
She was paired with Graziano Di Prima and was eliminated fourth.
However, she is perhaps best known for presenting the Capital Breakfast show alongside Roman Kemp and Sonny Jay from 2017 to 2020.
Hope left the show after three years to pursue more opportunities on TV.

In June 2021, it was announced Hope would co-host BBC Radio 1’s drive time slot alongside Jordan North, beginning 6 September 2021.
Who are Vick Hope’s parents
Vick Hope was born on 25 September 1989 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.
Not a lot is known about Vick Hope’s parents, but her mother is Nigerian and her father is English.
In 2020 she spoke to the Evening Standard and told the newspaper her mum Adeline had been teaching her how to cook during the pandemic.
She said: “Mum has been teaching me how to cook Nigerian food – like rice and stew and plantain. So I have been elevating my culinary skills. A lot of them are big, pot-based dishes and a little goes a long way. So lots of batch cooking.”
In an interview with The Sun, Vick spoke about the difficulties her parents had as a mixed-race couple in the 1980s.
Vick said her grandmother on her dad’s side would often make ignorant comments about her skin colour.
“My grandma would say things that were unacceptable,” she said.
“She loved us and never meant to hurt, but there was an ingrained generational thing and trying to advise her of a better way of putting things was hard.
“When I was born I was quite pale and she said: ‘Hopefully she’ll stay that
colour.’ And I remember her telling me when I had growing pains it was because my spine ‘didn’t know whether to be white or black.’”

Does she have a boyfriend?
Vick Hope is currently single, and does not have a boyfriend.
The Paralympics presenter dated actor Tom Rosenthal for four years but called time on the relationship shortly before going on Strictly.
She told The Mirror at the time: “I’ve just broken up with my boyfriend of four-and-a-half years because I was thinking, ‘Is this right? Is this who I’m going to be with for the rest of my life?’
“If I’m not 100% sure about that, then maybe I should get out.”
In 2020 she provided an update on her dating situation.
“Yeah, it’s not a great time to date right now,” she told The Sun.
“I’m cool with it. I like being single. I can concentrate on all the good stuff going on and work on myself. It’s lovely to have someone but I’m quite happy as I am.”
