31-year-old Josmer Volmy ‘Jozy’ Altidore is the future husband of tennis player Sloane Stephens.
Much like Stephens, Altidore is a successful athlete, making a career playing professional soccer.
As per this source, the soccer player hails from New Jersey, born to Haitian parents, before residing in Boca Raton, Florida.
Altidore joined the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in 2004, going on to launch his professional soccer playing career and making an appearance with the U-20s at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada!
The 31-year-old made his professional debut with the MetroStars in 2006, before going on to make a career in Europe.
Jozy signed with his current club, Toronto FC, in 2015.

The athlete power couple’s relationship explored
According to this source, Stephens and Altidore have been dating for four years, with relationship rumours initially flying back in 2017. But, did you know that the two have known each other since childhood?
Like the plot for a romantic movie, Stephens reportedly met Jozy when she was just 10-years-old after her family relocated to Florida to kick-start her tennis career! What are the chances?
Years later, in 2019, the couple got engaged and took to Instagram to announce the exciting news! Sloane captioned an IG snap with “Forever yes.”
It doesn’t seem as though the two have tied the knot yet, or at least there isn’t any photographic evidence online – but then again, the couple are pretty private.
Notably, as per Essentially Sports, Altidore reportedly has a son from a previous relationship, and Stephens apparently has a ‘strong bond’ with him.
In talks with YouTuber Avonna Wilson, Stephens said: “He is so sweet … He has such a good heart and he is such a good dad. I think through our relationship, we’ve grown a lot together. Like, a lot of stuff has happened and I think just as a person, as a dad, he’s just grown so much and I’m so proud.”
